Agriculture on the islands is very limited, only 2% of the land is cultivated, the remaining 98% being protected territory. This unique coffee is carefully cultivated at Hacienda El Cafetal, where the volcanic soil, mineral-rich water and strict organic practices contribute to its exceptional quality. In addition, the unique climatic conditions of the farm, combined with the isolation of the islands, provide several advantages rarely found elsewhere, such as the absence of typical coffee pests. As a protected area, the use of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides and other chemical products is strictly prohibited, which guarantees the cultivation of excellent organic coffees.
Our Galapagos coffee has a strong acidity, accompanied by a touch of bitterness that creates a pleasant and prolonged sensation in the mouth. The flavor profile of this coffee includes silky notes of honey, molasses, lime and a subtle hint of rose hip. It is a true reflection of the unique environment of the Galápagos Islands and the passion that goes into its cultivation.
